| Thought it was time for an update. Everything in my life is going great I love knowing that you are in Gods hands and that your in his will. I mean I have such peace in my life I love it and I know it's because I'm doing what I supposed to be doing at thins point in my life I couldn't ask for anything else. The bridal shop is going good it's been slow the past two weeks so my boss gave me the past two Saturdays off which is nice to a degree I'm glad I will have a regular check from them this week though. The salon is going awesome I love it there! It is so much fun and everyone is so nice and helpful. There is no cattyness (if that's a word) no stabbing in the back or anything just nice people willing to help you if you ask. Which I do ask a lot. I figure I can learn a lot form them they have all been doing hair 15 years and longer. I can't wait to just be able to work one job though in a salon and not have to worry. For now though I am very grateful for the two jobs. Today was a good day at the salon I did two haircuts both turned out very good. My friend Whitney from the salon won two box seat tickets to the toby keith concert on Saturday so she is taking me! I'm so excited it will be a blast! Today I spent some of the money I got from my graduation party I bought a pair of shears thinning shears and a razor I can't wait to get them and use them! Well thats it for now. | | |
| Official first day of work in the salon was today! It went really good. I watched how things operated and everything for a bit. Folded some towels collected towels and smocks took out the garbage answered the phone took appointments for other stylist. I was supposed to be done at 5 but right at five we had a walk in so i stayed a little late till about 5:45 and did a haircut then cleaned up! Downside my car is back in the shop today obviously they didn't completely fix it. My dad dropped lunch off to me then when he left it wouldn't go over 20mph again that's the problem it was having before. So needless to say its back at the shop today hopefully they will fix it and it will be perfect! Off to bed bridal shop and salon tomorrow long day. Have a good night! | | |
| It is so funny how God just works things out. I was starting to get a little stressed because my boss at the bridal shop said if I couldn't work saturdays there she would have to let me go. So needless to say I was getting stressed even though I knew God had it all in control it was just a matter of waiting to see how He would work things out. I went today and got a schedule that I will be working at the salon I'm so excited to start! I start Monday and the owner was able to give me 25 hours a week which is good. The awesome thing is he made my schedule so I can have off on Saturdays because I will be working some evenings. So I talked to my boss at the bridal shop about my hours at the salon and she said she would keep me on staff with my normal hours! God works an awesome ways to provide for us it's amazing! I feel so blessed and lucky that God always has a plan even if we get nervous He never does! So I am excited and very relieved. If you need your hair done let me know!  On another note went to the Rays game last night it was so much fun I love going to sporting events or games whatever you want to say. Ate more than I should of but that's part of the fun! They did loose though didn't play to smart if you ask me. | | |
| Well today I accepted a job! I'm so excited to start. I will be working at the Locksmiths. The owner is out of town and will be back next week and then we will put together a schedule for me to work. The only bad part is right now he can only give me 20 hours a week so I have to get a part time job unless I am able to stay at the bridal shop. I figure though if I don't stay at the shop I will apply at a few of the makeup counters in the mall and hopefully someone will hire me. I am so excited though to start a new chapter in my life and see where god takes me. One step at a time I'm living my dream. Hopefully in the next couple years my dreams will be complete. I'm so content right now doing what I love and taking life day by day. Facing new challenges with an open mind and god by my side what more could a person ask for.  | | |
